Mrs. Opal Mae Castle age 73 of Jasper who passed away at her home Sunday morning.
Mrs. Castle was preceded in death by her husband, William Castle. She retired from the Pickens County Board of Education where she had worked in the cafeteria.

She is survived by her children: John David Castle, Jasper; William Paul Castle, Jasper; Gary Lee Castle, Jasper; Ricky Lane Castle, Loudon, TN; and Tina Louise Mercer, Boling Green, KY; brothers: Okie Montogomery, Monticello, KY; Carl Montgomery, Nicholasville, KY; Earl Montgomery, Mt. Sterlin, KY; Billy Joe Montgomery, West Liberty, KY; sisters: Brenda Parker, Mt. Sterlins, KY; Ruby Lewallen, Seamore, TN; and Imagay Willaby, Mt. Sterlins, KY; seven grandchildren also survive.

Graveside Service will be 10 AM Wednesday, September 10, 2014 at Lake Forest Memorial Park.

The family request in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the Down Syndrome Awareness Group; PO Box 53575; Knoxville, TN 37950-3575 in honor of her grandson, Jackson.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Staff of Roper Funeral Home and Crematory of Jasper.
