Mr. James Montgomery Leonard, age 77, of Big Canoe passed away on Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at his home.He is survived by his wife, Jane Lois Leonard; his son, Jeff Leonard of Smyrna; his daughter, Laurie Leonard of Atlanta; granddaughter, Avery Pingpank; son-in-law, Bill Pingpank; brother, Larry Leonard; and brother-in-law, Charles Brau.

A memorial service was held at the Big Canoe Chapel on Sunday, October 19, 2014 at 2:30 p.m.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the staff of Roper Funeral Home & Crematory in Jasper, Georgia.
