Father and daughter were on the campaign trail together in Fannin County. Georgia US Senate Candidate Michelle Nunn made a campaign stop in Fannin County Georgia this morning along with her father, former US Senator, Sam Nunn. Candidate Nunn spoke to a room full of supporters having breakfast this morning.
Nunn expressed she has spent the last 26 years of her life trying to make a difference by building volunteer organizations. She told the group that her opponent, David Perdue, said the campaign was about prosecuting the President and that is what he has done throughout this race. Nunn said Georgians know they have enough prosecutors and that they need more problem solvers.
Her father, Sam Nunn, told the room that Michelle’s opponent said he was going to be the chief prosecutor and he went on to point out that Obama was just going to be there two more years, and wondered what Perdue would do for the remaining four years. Sam said Georgians had always looked at the Senate seat as a long term investment. He continued to express to the room that Michelle was a problem solver and said that’s what Georgia needs.
