Mr. James Richard Payne, age 67 of Jasper, passed away at Northside Hospital Forsyth on Friday, October 31, 2014. He is survived by his wife; Jan Payne of Jasper, son & daughter-in-law; Jodi & Kim Payne of Blue Ridge, daughter & son-in-law; Susie & Steven Chapman of Jasper, brother; Robbie Payne of Whitestone, sister; Wanda Wright of Jasper, brother-in-law & sister-in-law; Jim & Karen Garland of Florida, and 6 grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 2:30 pm until 10 pm, Sunday from 8 am until 10 pm and again on Monday from 8 am until prior to the funeral hour.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2 pm on Monday from the chapel of Cagle Funeral Home with Revs. Steven Chapman and Danny Townsend officiating. The interment will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens with local chapter 47 DAV in charge of military rites.
