“Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.” II Timothy 2: 22
O God, there are so many pleasure coated snares that are set for our young people. As they step into them and they clamp around their legs help them to be intelligent enough to realize that the inner voidness is not filled. Help young people who have come to this mature realization to discover that the way to real purpose is in investing their lives in our great cause rather than spending them in unnoble pursuits.

In a time when it is considered out of step to be interested in spiritual things cause, o Lord, renewed interest among young people in the things that really count.

There are many who are seeking a banner to march under. May they find their life’s purpose under the banner of the Cross whatever their career choice may be: through Christ our Lord.
