Mrs. Mary E. (Cooter) Howard, age 76 of Adairsville, passed away at Cartersville Medical Center on Monday evening November 17, 2014. She is survived by sons & daughters-in-law; Johnny Homer & Karen Howard of Acworth, Kenneth Jr. & Connie Howard of Jasper, Keith Mickey & Rachel Howard of Jasper, Teddy Doyle & Telena Howard of Jasper, daughters & sons-in-law; Carolyn Louise & Ray Hazelwood of Cartersville, Deborah Lynn & Harold Tidwell of Adairsville, brothers; Willie Lingerfelt of Acworth, Johnny Lingerfelt of Smyrna, Jerry Lingerfelt of Acworth, 12 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday November 18th from 6pm until 11pm, Wednesday from 8am till 11pm and again on Thursday from 8am until prior to the funeral hour. Funeral services are scheduled for 11am on Thursday at the chapel of Cagle Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Lingerfelt and Karen Howard officiating. The interment will follow in Lake Forest Memorial Park.
