Donna Douglas age 81, who famously portrayed Elly May Clampett on the legendary 1960’s TV series “The Beverly Hillbillies” passed away last Thursday at her home in Louisiana with friends and family by her side.
Donna Douglas visited Ellijay in October 2013 having been chosen as the 2013 Apple Festival Parade Honorary Grand Marshall.
