Mrs. Thelma Holbert Darnell, age 92 of Maryville TN and formerly of Pickens County, passed away Thursday January 29, 2015 at Blount Memorial Hospital.
She is survived by by her son & daughter-in-law; James E. & Rosa Darnell, daughters & son-in-law; Sarah Smith, Robbie Jenkins, Rhonda & Robert Pitts, sisters & brothers-in-law; Myrna & Jack Hurst, Claudette & George Barnes, grandchildren; Lisa Cannon, Scott Cloud, Jamie Campbell, Brandon Jenkins, Josh Pitts, Michelle Harris, April Dotson, 11 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Mrs. Darnell was preceded in death by her husband; Rev. Paul Darnell, daughters; Louise Cannon, Marilyn Darnell, parents; Joseph & Laura Holbert, sisters; Carol Dobson, Kathleen Farmer and brother; Danny Holbert.

The family will recieve friends at the Miller Funeral Home in Maryville, Tn. on Saturday January 31st from 2pm until 4pm. Funeral services are scheduled for 4pm on Saturday at the Miller Funeral Home Magnolia Chapel with Revs. Quentin Caldwell & Hilliard Watkins officiating. The interment is scheduled for 3:30pm on Sunday February 1st at Talking Rock Baptist Church Cemetery.
