Religion

Psalm 12:1 “I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.”Unto you that dwells in the Heavens we lift up our eyes. Our help comes from you because our lives are in your hands. You fill our hearts with joy, hope, and purpose as we humbly bow in prayer. We thank you, O God, for all of your bountiful blessings. Your ever present help is our strength amidst the trying circumstances of life.

We pray for those who feel that man is self-sufficient, that science has replaced God, that the Bible is irrelevant, and that religion has outlived its usefullness. Help those who shun spiritual things to see the black voidness of their lives. May they come to realize that they are robbing themselves of the greatest way of life.

Dear Father, forgive us as Christians for failing to present to the world the right concept of Christ. May we be keenly aware that our actions speak louder than words. So we pledge ourselves to a closer walk with you today. Help this one who seeks you now to come in faith for inner strength through Christ our Lord.

Amen.
