Mr. John Cagle, age 89 of Gainesville, passed away at his residence on Wednesday February 4, 2015.He is survived by his wife; Eliza Athon Cagle of Gainesville, son & daughter-in-law; John Athon & Nancy Cagle of Pickens County, daughter; Tammy Bond of Atlanta, brother ; Bob Cagle of Jasper, grandson; Zachery Stanfield and wife Ana, 6 great step-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; Rosa & Olen Cagle, infant son; Ken Athon Cagle, brother; Bill Cagle, sister; Ruth Lay and many friends.

The family will receive friends at Little Davenport Funeral Home on Sunday February 8th from 1:30pm until the memorial service hour. Memorial services are scheduled for 3pm on Sunday at the chapel of Little Davenport Funeral Home in Gainesville with Rev. Larry Russell officiating.
