Philippians 4:13 “I can do all things through Christ who strengtheneth me.”O God Jehovah, in you we live and move and have our being. Before your sacred throne we bow in humble adoration. We worship you because in worship we find strength and courage to rise above ourselves. Forgive us for being self-centered. Help us to have wisdom, vision and spiritual understanding that will cause our interest to extend out from ourselves.

Living for you in the manner that you want us to is the hardest thing in life for it involves all of life. You want us to live in the mind and spirit of Jesus which is to love instead of hate, to understand rather than to rebuff, to be pure rather than to be tainted by lust, and to be submissive to your will rather than letting our wills dominate. We know that as we are in Christ and He is in us, we have the strength to do the things that seem impossible.

Look into the soul of this one who bows before you just now and help this person to be strong in spirit and abounding in the joy that is in our blessed Redeemer.
