Mrs. Helen Kendrick Smallwood, age 85 of Gainesville, passed away at Pruitt Health Care in Buford on Thursday March 12, 2015.She is survived by sons & daughter-in-law; Jack & Janice Smith of Dacula, Mark Smallwood of Gainesville, Perry N. Smith of Gainesville, daughter; Linda Collins of Gainesville, sister; Barbara Goss of Woodstock, 10 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and several nieces & nephews.
Mrs. Smallwood was preceded in death by her husband; Ellis Smallwood, daughter; Peggy Widner and son; Jimmy Smith.

The family will receive friends on Friday from 5:30pm until 9pm and again on Saturday from 8am until prior to the funeral hour. Funeral services are scheduled for 2pm on Saturday from the chapel of Cagle Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Milligan officiating. The interment will follow in Bethesda Baptist Church Cemetery.
