Mardy Ray Densmore, age 36, of Jasper passed away Wednesday, April 1, 2015 in North Charleston, South Carolina as the result of an accident. He was born June 2, 1978 in Jasper to Earnest Cecil Densmore and Rose Ann Simonds.

Mardy is survived by daughters, Delena Densmore of Jasper, Sophia Densmore of Jasper; son, Joshua Isaiah Adams of Adairsville; mother, Rose Ann Simonds of Jasper; father, Earnest Densmore of Ellijay; sister and brother-in-law, Christy and Kenny Rowe of Canton; brother and sister-in-law, Chris and Mary Katherine Densmore of Fairmount; brother, Chad Densmore of Canton; fiancée, Cynthia Davis of Ellijay; and grandparents, Arthur Lee and Thelma Simonds of Jasper. A host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive.

The funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Monday, April 6, 2015 at the Chapel of Roper Funeral Home with Reverend A. W. Roberts officiating. Interment will follow at Price Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends from 11:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Sunday and until the funeral hour on Monday. Pallbearers will be Lee Caylor, Will Simonds, Daniel Simonds, Christopher Densmore, James Ray, Jessie Pendley, Israel Pendley, and Allen Reynolds.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made at Community Bank of Pickens County – Donation Account for Mardy Densmore.
