The Tate Depot will be moved beginning at 8:00 a.m. weather permitting on Sunday April 12th according to Norman Pope, Director of Information and Public Relations for Pickens County. Flyers have been handed out to nearby neighbors showing an alternate DOT route for traffic/truck traffic during the move, as traffic will be re-routed through a residential neighborhood Sunday morning. The Pickens Public Works Director Kim Quinton told FYN traffic will be re-routed off State Route 53 from Newtown Street and over to North Station Street and back to SR 53 east.The move is anticipated to take four hours as the Tate Depot building is moved across the road on State Route 53.Click here for more about the Tate Depot move
