Mr. John Sidney Barrett, age 67 of Jasper, GA., passed away Sunday, May 3, 2015 at his residence. He was born on July 21, 1947 in Bainbridge, GA. to the late Homer and Bertha Barrett. He was a proud member of the Woodmen of the World Society.

Mr. Barrett is survived by his wife, Karen Barrett of Jasper; daughters & son-in-law, Keri & Cole Dorsey of Jasper, Heather Barrett of Jasper; son, Dustin Barrett of Jasper; grandchildren, Lucas Dorsey of Jasper and Logan Dorsey of Jasper; sister-in-law, Kimberly Duren of Shelby, N.C.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at the Chapel of Roper Funeral Home. The family will be receiving friends from 1:00 PM until the funeral hour. The family has requested that Memorial Contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.
