Michael Benson Cloud, Sr., age 52, of Tate passed away Friday, May 29, 2015 at his home.He was born August 13, 1962 to Lloyd and Jean Cloud in Atlanta. He married Tracy Jarrett.

Michael is survived by his wife, Tracy of Tate; son, Michael Benson Cloud, Jr. of Jasper; daughter and son-in-law, Jessica and Michael Childers of Talking Rock; sisters, Angie Cloud Jones of Dahlonega, Misty Cloud Mabry of Jasper; grandchildren, Miranda Ann Childers and Kaylee Childers. Several nieces, nephews, and other relatives also survive.

A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.

The family requests no flowers.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Staff of Roper Funeral Home and Crematory.
