Marilyn Fern Mapes, age 83, of Jasper passed away at her home June 7, 2015.Marilyn Fern Mapes, age 83, of Jasper passed away at her home June 7, 2015. She was born February 19, 1932 to Harold and Fern Weston in Illinois.

Ms. Mapes is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Chuck and Rhonda Mapes of Jasper, Tim and Mary Mapes of Atlanta; brother and sister-in-law, Jack and Bonnie Weston of Wisconsin; grandchildren, Benjamin Mapes, Evan Mapes, John Mapes, Michael Mapes, Trevor Mapes, nieces and nephews, Judy Evans, Andy Evans, John Weston, Mark Weston, Mike Weston, Kelly Weston-Free; and several great nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, June 21 at Mountain View Alliance Church with Reverend Ed Pottorff officiating.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Staff of Roper Funeral Home and Crematory.
