Rice, would end his night on the mound on a strong note as he would strikeout the side in the top of the fourth to bring his total to 7 for the game. After a strikeout, Turner, would draw a 2-out walk to put runners at 1st and 2nd. The Chiefs, would get out of the third with a strikeout to send it to the fourth with the Dragons still leading it, 5-0.

A line out to short, would end the top half of the inning and send it to the bottom of the frame. Jenkins, would lead off the bottom of the inning with a single. Caden Kirchoff, would come in as a courtesy runner. Lowitt, would then be hit by a pitch to put runners at 1st and 2nd.

Tanner Bail, would come in to pitch run for Lowit. A 2-run double by Davis Jr, would make it 7-0 Dragons. After a strikeout, Allen, would drive in Davis Jr with an RBI single to make it 8-0. Allen, would advance to 2nd on the play. An error, would allow Allen to take 3rd. Grubbs, back in the lineup, would bring in Allen with an RBI single to make it 9-0 Dragons heading to the fifth.

In the top of the fifth, Grubbs, would pick up a strikeout and a ground out for the first two outs of the inning. After issuing back to back 2-out walks, Grubbs, would get out of the potential jam with his second strikeout to send it to the bottom of the fifth. Jenkins, would reach with a 1-out walk. Bail, would follow that up with a double to put runners at 2nd and 3rd with 1-out.

The Chiefs, were able to get out of the fifth with back to back strikeouts. Heading to the sixth, the Dragons, would still lead it, 9-0.

Turner, would come on in relief of Grubbs in the top of the sixth. C. Gantt, would lead off the sixth by drawing a walk. Much like Grubbs, Turner, got a big double play to clear the bases. J. Brock, would then draw a 2-out walk. B. Winford, would then reach with a 2-out double to put runners at 2nd and 3rd. Turner, would be able to get out of it with a strikeout to send it to the bottom of the inning.

Allen, would lead off the bottom of the sixth with his third hit of the game. Grubbs, would follow that with his third hit of the game. After a strikeout, Allen and Grubbs, would attempt a double steal. Allen, would take 3rd, while Grubbs would be thrown out trying to steal 2nd.
