The local Farmer’s Market sponsored and organized by the Master Gardeners of Pickens County and the Pickens County Extension Service opened for the season this past weekend.
This season will include a Wednesday market which runs June 20 through August 29

The hours for both markets will be from 7:30 am to 12 noon.

The location will be at the Park n Ride Lot at Lee Newton Park with the exception of the Fourth of July Celebration and the Marble Festival weekends. At that time the Farmers Market will be temporarily moved to the Sacketts parking lot.

Everyone is urged to come out and support our local farmers market. Vendors sell homemade arts and crafts and home grown produce.

Saturday’s market will run through October 27, 2012.
