On June 24, Elaine Cox O’Bryant devoted wife and mother slipped away from her earthly home and joined her husband Herschel, and sons Charles, Ricky and Caleb and great granddaughter Amber.
Ms. Elaine was born Dec. 20 1921. She passed away at Rock Creek Assisted living Center. She leaves behind her two daughters, Pat and her husband Harry Jinks of Ball Ground and Sally and Tony Eubanks of
Tate. Grandchildren are, Scott and wife Rose Jinks and their children Taylor and Madison of Cumming. Her grand daughter Rhonda Jinks of Atlanta. Her granddaughter Tracey and husband Dale Voyles, and their children Caitlyn and Matt of Colorado. She also leaves several nieces and one nephew, Charles Cox of Tate. She was a resident of Tate her entire life and attended Tate UMC for 87 years. She was active in her community and worked at the onset of Head Start as Parent teacher coordinator.
We ask in lieu of flowers donations be made to Amicalola Garden Club, Cool Springs Cemetery Fund or Tate United Methodist Church.
Her life was spent in her walk with God and now she will find peace in the arms of her Saviour.
Service was held at Tate UMC 2:00 Tuesday June 26 with Rev. Thomas Shores Pastor at Bright Star UMC of Dougalsville officiating. The Interment in Cool Springs Cemetery. Pallbearers were Jack Hausman, Tommy Platt, Brad White, Jim Miller, Bob Perdue, Jimmy Lee & Jerry Andrews.
Cagle Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
