Mrs. Jewell O’Connell Garland, age 93 of Marietta who passed away on Sunday, July 8.

The body remains at Roper Funeral Home where the family will be receiving friends after 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Monday.

Funeral Service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday July 10, 2012 at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church with Rev. Robert Allen and Rev. Danny Townsend officiating. The interment will follow in the church cemetery.

She is survived by her Daughter & Son-In-Law; Rowena & Olen Hamby, Acworth GA, Granddaughter; Annette Hamby, Dallas GA, Sisters; Jewett Silver, Ellijay GA, Lowree Godfrey, Marietta, Brother; Lloyd Souther, Carrollton, GA, Friend; Ruby Teem, Talking Rock GA, Several Nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the caring staff at Roper Funeral Home.
