Mr. Carson Payne, age 79 of Talking Rock, passed away at Sunshine Manor Assisted Living on Tuesday, August 7, 2012. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 7 to 10 p.m., Wednesday from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Thursday from 8 a.m. prior to the funeral hour.

Funeral Services are scheduled for Thursday, August 9 at 2 p.m. at the Town Creek Baptist church with Revs Coy Richards and Tim Hyde officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Survivors are son and daughter-in-law Bud and Brandy Payne, Talking Rock; daughters and son-in-law: Lisa and Will Adams, Talking Rock and Nancy Grizzle, Talking Rock; brothers and sisters-in-law: Earl and Betty Payne, Turtle Town, TN, Charlie Payne, Turtle Town, TN; Wills and Alice Payne, Jasper, and Virgil and Betty Payne, Florida; four grandchildren: Hanna Payne, Haley Payne, Chris Cheshire, and Garry Simmons; several great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.
