Mr. John Robert Cobb, age 52, of Ellijay, Georgia passed away Friday April 5, 2013 at Roswell Nursing Home & Rehabilitation Center in Roswell, GA, following a period of declining health.

Mr. Cobb was born May 1, 1960 in Atlanta, GA & was preceded in death by his father, David Carlton Cobb. He was employed by Marietta Drywall & was a residential contractor.

He is survived by his MOTHER, Dorothy Irene Cobb of Ellijay, GA, DAUGHTERS & SONS-IN LAW, Jeana & Mark Gray of Madisonville, TN, Jessica & Mark Sanzo of Emerson, GA, Elizabeth Amanda & Chuck Brackett of Madisonville, TN, SON & DAUGHTER-IN-LAW, John Robert Cobb, Jr. & Catherine of Baytown, TX, SISTER & BROTHER-IN-LAW, Dorothy Jean & Eugene Anderson of Talking Rock, GA, BROTHER & SISTER-IN-LAW, Mark & Dee Cobb of Ellijay, GA, GRANDCHILDREN: Bradin & Skyler Gray, Madison & Matthew Cobb, Emily Gray Sanzo, & Leah Faith Sanzo, NEPHEW, Jeremy & Cassandra Ashburn of Ellijay, NIECES: Anna Ashburn of Ellijay, Kimberly & Patrick Poss of Ellijay.

At his request, Mr. Cobb was cremated & a private family service will be held.
