Mrs. Louise Buchanan Holmes, age 86 of Jasper passed away Wednesday, May 01, 2013 at her home following a lengthy illness.

She is survived by her Husband, David Windfield Holmes, Jasper, Sons & Daughter-in-law, Ronnie Holmes, Jasper, Donnie & Susan Holmes, Ranger, Daughter & Son-in-law, Gwen & Tommy Chumley, Jasper, Brother-in-law, Paul Qualls, Jasper, Grandchildren, Sam Holmes, Atlanta, David Holmes, Jasper, Alison & Mark Adams, Woodstock, Joe Chumley & Fiancé Alicia Bailey, Jasper, Several Nieces & Nephews also survive.

She was preceded in death by her Parents, Ernest & Grace Buchanan, Brother, Kenneth Buchanan, & Sister, Faye Qualls.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 3, 2013 at the Roper Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tony Ramirez officiating. Interment will follow in Sunrise Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends at Roper Funeral Home on Thursday, May 2, 2013 from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

The Family will accept flowers or donations may be made to Jasper First Baptist Church, Georgia Mountains Hospice or to Mt. Zion Baptist Church.
