Mr. Gordon Wilson, age 70 of Ball Ground, Georgia died Thursday, May 16, 2013 at his residence following a period of declining health.

The body remains at Roper Funeral Home where the family will receive friends after 6:00 p.m. on Friday, all day on Saturday and until the funeral hour on Sunday.

Born February 12, 1943 in Chamblee, Georgia, he was the son of the late Henry Wilson and Gertrude Greenway Wilson. Mr. Wilson had worked in maintenance with LaFarge Concrete Products.

Survivors include, HIS WIFE, Wanda Wilson of Ball Ground, Ga.; SONS & DAUGHTERS-IN-LAW, Gordon, Jr. and Bobbie Wilson of Ball Ground, Ga.; William Martin and Renee Wilson of Woodstock, Ga.; STEP-SONS & DAUGHTERS-IN-LAW, David and Sonia Chapman of Jasper, Ga.; Fat Jack and Virginia Chapman of Ball Ground, Ga.; Joey and Melissa Chapman of Ball Ground, Ga.; 10 Grandchildren, 3 Great-Grandchildren and Other Relatives also survive.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Sunday, May 19, 2013 at the Roper Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. Steven Chapman will officiate with the interment to follow in Bethesda Baptist Church Cemetery in Nelson, Georgia.
