Mr. John Larry Hendrix, 55 of Jasper, Georgia died on Saturday, June 8, 2013, at his home in Jasper, Georgia.
He was born Tuesday, September 10, 1957 in Tate, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his parents, Herman Wendell Hendrix and Mary Sue Hendrix.

Surviving are brothers & sister-in-law, Donnie Hendrix of Jasper, GA, Ronnie & Lisa Hendrix of Tate, GA, David & Tammy Hendrix of Jasper, GA and Ricky Hendrix of Ky., sisters & brothers-in-law, Kathy & J. T. Childers of Jasper, GA, Patsy & Jerry Thurman of Talking Rock, GA and Wanda & Robbie Ray of Jasper, GA, Aunt, Charlene Champion, Tate, and Uncle, James Champion, Hiwassee. Several Nieces and Nephews also survive.

A Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Tuesday at Long Swamp Baptist Church with the Rev. Danny Townsend & Rev. Buck Parker officiating. Interment will be in Long Swamp Baptist Church Cemetery, Jasper, GA.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM on Monday, June 10, 2013, at Roper Funeral Home, 206 Holly Street, Jasper, Georgia.
