A Talking Rock resident, James Brown was arrested after an incident involving a neighbor, Denise Gilreath. Gilreath alleges that Brown attempted to enter into her home in the wee hours of morning on Tuesday July 9, 2013.Gilreath alleges that she went to investigate a noise on her front porch, expecting to find a dear or bear due to a rash of recent sightings in the area; however, what she found was James Brown, a neighbor attempting to enter her home.

Gilreath called police after a brief interaction with Brown, who fled the scene. Several hours later Brown was arrested. A copy of the incident report is below, as well as a FYN Exclusive video interview with Gilreath.
