This week’s FYN Sports Superstar Swag Player of the Week is the annual Break Out Player of the year. Here at FYN Sports we value those players that every coach of every team has every year. Those players that didn’t come into the season highly touted but ended up being crucial to the team’s game plan week in and week out.

The Dragons’ Break Out Player of the year is senior linebacker, Thomas Howard. Howard had a tremendous senior season for the Dragons, leading the team in total tackles with 169 tackles, solo tackles with 109, and assisted tackles with 60. Howards’ 169 tackles gave Howard the school record for tackles in a season as well the career tackles record. Howard’s efforts throughout PHS’ 10 games put him among the top defenders in the state of Georgia and helped the Dragons contain some of the hottest offenses each Friday night.
