Mr. Eric A. Wood, age 75 of Bent Tree, passed away at his residence on on February 2, 2015.

He is survived by his wife; Jo Ann Wood of Bent Tree, daughters and sons-in-law; Michelle & Wayne Riley of Fayetteville, Ga., Vicki & Scott Monroe of Smyrna, Ga., sisters & brother-in-law; Betty Woody of Oakwood, Ga., Dot & Hubert Delong of Oakwood, Ga., grandchildren; Blake & Mandy Riley of Columbus, Ga., Ainslee Monroe of Smyrna, Ga., great-grandchildren; Eric Luke, Levi and Ella.

The family will receive friends at Cagle Funeral Home on Friday February 6th from 4pm until 8pm. Memorial services are scheduled for 1pm on Saturday February 7th at Jasper First Baptist Church with Pastor Greg Pope & Rev. Marlin Kauffman officiating. Scripture will be read by Michelle Riley.

The family will accept potted plants or wicker baskets but would prefer memorial gifts made to Jasper First Baptist Church Building Fund or to Georgia Mountains Hospice.
