Mrs. Annette Cowart, age 72, of Ball Ground passed away Monday, May 4, 2015 at Piedmont Mountainside Hospital in Jasper.She was born on July 31, 1942 to Aubrey Herbert and Ollie Mae Carter in Winterhaven, Florida.

Mrs. Cowart is survived by sons, Tim Poole of Jasper, Terry Poole of Alabama; daughters, Theresa Pierce of Ball Ground, Tammy Wells of Finger, TN; brother, Richard Carter of Jasper, Larry Carter of Jasper; sister, Debra Bryant; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Several nieces, nephews and other family members also survive.

Funeral services will be 7:00 p.m. Thursday evening, May 7, 2015, in the Chapel of Roper Funeral Home with Reverend John Reale officiating. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and until the funeral hour on Thursday.

The family will accept flowers or donations may be made to the family for funeral expenses.
