Mr. George L. McLaughlin, age 97 of Jasper, passed away Friday August 5, 2016 at Pruitt Health Care.

Mr. McLaughlin is survived by his son: Dennis McLaughlin of Jasper; daughter and son-in-law: Pam & Doug Dorsey of Jasper; grandchildren: Tuesday Hammontree, Chris McLaughlin, Stacy Riddle, and Jamie McLaughlin and step granddaughter: Kayleen McLaughlin; great-grandchildren: T.J. Riddle, Sam Hammontree, and Aleena Ray McLaughlin.

Mr. McLaughlin was preceded in death by his son David A. McLaughlin.

Visitation will be held on Saturday August 6, 2016 from 3:30pm until 8:00pm and on Sunday from 8:00am until prior to the memorial service. A memorial graveside service will be held at 2:00pm Sunday August 7, 2016 at Sunrise Memorial Gardens with Rev. David Stuart officiating.

The family will accept flowers or donate to Jasper First Baptist Church.
