Roy Edward “Eddie” Satterfield, age 64, of Jacksonville, Florida, passed away Saturday, August 20, 2016.

Eddie is survived by his mother, Ruth Satterfield of Marble Hill; sisters and brothers-in-law, Barbara and Frank Pendley of Jasper, Donna and Tom Evans of Jasper; sister, Lisa Stone of Jasper; sisters-in-law, Donna McCall, Brenda Byles, Linda Hinson; and brother-in-law, Ronnie Mullis.  Several nieces and nephews also survive.

He was preceded in death by father, Runt Satterfield; wife, Wanda Satterfield; and brother, Larry Satterfield.

The funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at the Chapel of Roper Funeral Home with Reverend Harold Bottoms officiating.  Interment will follow at Long Swamp Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be at Roper Funeral Home from 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday and from 9:00 a.m. until the funeral hour on Wednesday.
