Mrs. Joan Eckert, age 76 of Jasper, passed away on Saturday, July 16, 2011 at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta.Visitation will be held at Cagle Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 19th from 6PM to 9PM. No Memorial Services are planned at this time.

Survivors include her Sons: Charles Eckert of Jasper and William Eckert of Stillwater, NJ; Daughter: Shirley Silver of McDonough; Brother: James Burchill of Ellijay; 5 Grandchildren, 6 Great-Grandchildren and Several Nieces and Nephews.

The Family will accept potted plants, wicker basket arrangements or Donations to the American Heart Association.

Cagle Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
