Ricky “Shane” Wilson, age 34 of Fairmount, Georgia, died Friday, November 16, 2012 at the Piedmont Mountainside Hospital in Jasper, Georgia from injuries sustained in an accident.

Born December 12, 1977 in Marietta, Georgia, he was preceded in death by his mother, Debbie Lynn Dunn Wilson. He worked as a painter with Wilson Painting.

Survivors include, HIS DAUGHTER, Courtney Wilson of Fairmount, Ga.; COMPANION, Terri Gibby of Fairmount, Ga.; HIS FATHER & STEP-MOTHER, Ricky and Connie Wilson of Fairmount, Ga.; GRANDFATHER, C.L. Wilson of Fairmount, Ga.; AUNTS & UNCLES, Janet and Johnny Ray of Jasper, Ga.; Dawn Dunn of Blue Ridge, Ga.; Donnie Dunn of Dalton, Ga.; Denise and Dwayne Daves of Ellijay, Ga.; Darlene and Mark Scott of Woodstock, Ga.; Sherry Harris of Ranger, Ga.; Anthony Dunn of Ranger, Ga.; Cousins and other relatives also survive.

Viewing and Visitation will be at Roper Funeral Home, 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Monday, November 19, 2012 with a Prayer Service beginning at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, the Rev. Ben Mock will officiate. Cremation will follow the viewing and visitation.
