Pickens County Republican Party Welcomes GA State Rep. Rick Jasperse to the November Meeting

Rick Jasperse

On Monday, November 11th (Veterans Day), the Pickens County Republican Party will meet at 7 p.m. at Chattahoochee Technical College for the November monthly meeting. Note this important meeting date change. There was a conflict with a special program by the Dawson County Republican Party presenting a special night with Eric Golub, a conservative author, radio/tv personality and all round funny guy.
Rick Jasperse, our Representative in Georgia, will be meeting with us to discuss the “CHALLENGES & EXPECTATIONS FOR 2014 GEORGIA LEGISLATIVE SESSION”. Rick will talk about what happened in the legislative session this year and then try to explain what might be happening in the new session.
Rick also will be telling us about his Annual Corn Roast, a little later this year. Lots of good facts and fun as always when Mr. Jasperse is the speaker.

The 2014 elections have Rick’s position unopposed at this time but Speaker Ralston is being opposed by Sam Snider, a coach in Gilmer County. The fact that the speaker is being opposed is interesting and Rick’s ideas about what might happen if a new speaker is elected might be really interesting.

So come join us for our Monday night monthly meeting on November 11th. What better way to celebrate what our Veterans have given us in America than to honor them by participating in Republican Party meeting! Please be sure to invite and then bring, several people with you. With the year coming to an end, it is time to recruit new members.
