Laney is one of our Drum Majors and has been outstanding this year  with leadership, organization and spirit with the band.  Laney is a  second-year Drum Major and her musicality and commitment to  excellence is so important to the band.  She is also an alto saxophone  player in our Symphonic Band. We are fortunate to have her in the  band.
Elijah Hooks is our Drum Major as well and has been spectacular this  year in terms of leadership, commitment to having a well-run rehearsal, and providing help to everyone he can.  Elijah is a first-year Drum Major and also a horn player in Symphonic Band.  Thank you for all you do, Elijah!

PHS Comedy Opens Sunday

The Theatre Department at PHS is excited to present the family-friendly comedy “The Ransom of Red Chief” to the community! Adults and children will all love this play, which is about a young girl named Dolly who comes to visit three young adults trying to make it in New York City. While Dolly may look the picture of innocence, she’s more than meets the eye! See the havoc and hilarity that Dolly brings as she shows her true colors. The show only runs approximately one hour, so it’s great for children! School staff members with an event pass get in free! Donations are always appreciated.
All shows will be held at PHS in the New Performing Arts Center. Tickets are available at the door – $8 adults and $5 students

Our opening shows are this Sunday the 18th with performances at 2:00 and  3:30 pm. One ticket gets you in to both shows! We have two different  wonderful casts performing, so both shows will be different.
Tuesday, the 20th at 7pm is our next show featuring cast A only.
Saturday the 24th is the Region 7AAAA competition hosted at PHS. Five  schools will be performing and competing for the title of region champion.  PHS performs at 10:30 am. All of the competition performances are free to  come see, so come on out and show your support!
