Mrs. Sheila Darby, age 60, of Ball Ground passed away Thursday, January 28, 2016 at Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga.  Sheila was born November 30, 1955 to Posey and Margaret Darnell in Canton, Georgia.

She is survived by husband, Eddie Darby of Ball Ground; son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Sarah Darby of Canton; daughter and son-in-law, Amy and Josh Hamby of Ball Ground; grandchildren, Hazel Darby, Clayton Hamby, Carter Hamby, Violet Darby; sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Johnny Parton of Ball Ground; mother-in-law, Mary Jo Darby of Stockbridge; sisters-in-law, Buena Darnell, Elayne Darnell; and brother-in-law, Terry Darby.  Several other nieces, nephews, and other family members also survive.

Sheila was preceded in death by brothers, Danny Darnell and Steve Darnell.

The funeral service will be held 3:00 p.m., Sunday, January 31, 2016 at Bethesda Baptist Church with Reverend Ryan Wilson, Reverend Jimmy Chester, and Reverend Lamar Cantrell officiating.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will be receiving friends at Roper Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. on Saturday and from 9:00 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. on Sunday.
