Mrs. Bobbie Jo Whittington, age 64 of Watkinsville, formerly of Tate, passed away Saturday April 23, 2016 at her residence.

Mrs. Whittington is survived by husband: Mike Whittington of Panama City Beach, FL.; son and daughter-in-law: Chris & Jennifer Whittington of Louisville, Kentucky; daughter and life partner: Carrie Whittington & Alan Lunsford of Adairsville; brother and sister-in-law: Mike & Vivian Murphy of Ball Ground; sister and brother-in-law: Pat & Allen Ray of Canton; grandchildren: Chris Jr. and Ben Whittington; and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her grandson Joshua.

Visitation will begin Wednesday, April 27, 2016 from 1pm until 10pm and Thursday 8am until prior to the funeral hour. The funeral service will be held at 1pm Thursday in the chapel of Cagle Funeral Home with Rev. Daniel Ray officiating. Interment at Cool Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.
