Chamber November Membership Breakfast

Pickens County Chamber

The Chamber Membership Breakfast was held Tuesday, November 8th, 2016. Attendees arrived to a delicious breakfast catered by Coast 2 Coast and networked with over 150 people in attendance before beginning the program.

Amberle Godfrey’s Welcome and the Invocation was followed by our new member welcome by Chamber Ambassador Matt Youngblood of WYYZ – 1490 AM, which included: Crafting on the Hill, The Preserve at Sharp Mountain, Lead Edge Design Group, Advanced Sun Control, and Reverend John Baptist. We encourage the community to reach out to these new members and learn about the services they offer.

In addition, November’s Large Business of the Month, a program sponsored by Community Bank of Pickens County, was awarded to Home Depot.

The Teachers of the Year were recognized, and Gerry Nechvatal, the Executive and Economic Development Director, also provided updates regarding the Chamber of Commerce.

The November Chamber Membership Breakfast was sponsored by Piedmont Mountainside and Michelle Breitfelder spoke on their behalf.

After the sponsor remarks, the program was concluded by giving away door prizes donated by: Chattahoochee Tech, Carriage House, Piedmont Mountainside Auxiliary, Renasant Bank, ETC, A Love of Travel, R&R Bod Shop, Norwex, R&R Trikes, and the Holiday Market in Jasper.

The Pickens County Chamber of Commerce hosts a monthly breakfast with the next scheduled breakfast on Tuesday, December 13th. This is a great opportunity for members to network and make great business connections.
