Lois Jean “Jeanna” Mills, age 64, of the Hinton Community, passed away Sunday, August 6, 2017 at her home. She was born January 22, 1953 to Thomas Lansford and Jean Cantrell in Cobb County. She was a member of the Jasper Church of Christ.

Jeanna is survived by her husband, Ronnie Mills of the Hinton Community; daughter and son-in-law, Kimberly and Hal Lunn of Jasper; mother, Jean Lejoy of Atlanta; sisters, Joan Batt of Talking Rock, Janice Cantrell of Talking Rock; brothers, Thomas Cantrell of Jasper, Steven Cantrell of Jasper; grandchildren, Trey Lunn of Jasper, Trent Lunn of Jasper. Many other family members and friends also survive.

A funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday in the Chapel of Roper Funeral Home with Reverend Terry Burress officiating. Interment will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be Monday from 6:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m., Tuesday from 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., and Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.

The family requests in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Jeanna Mills Memorial Fund in care of Roper Funeral Home.
