The 4th annual Pickens County Stampede Rodeo was held Friday and Saturday night in Jasper at Sacketts Arena and brought quite a crowd despite the threat of rain.
The rodeo, which featured riders from the Southern Rodeo Association along with riders from Jasper, Ellijay, Blue Ridge, was a raving success once again, as fans from all over made the drive to see some of the toughest riders in the Southeast take on some of the strongest and wildest bulls and broncos around.

Although very few of the riders were able to reach the coveted eight second riding mark, it still made for a fun time for those in attendance and a perfect two days in Pickens County.
