On September 20th 2014, the Pickens Animal Rescue, Inc. held its annual fundraiser event. The Fur Ball was held Saturday at Venue2Remember owned by Angela Nolte and entertainment was provided by Jesse Giles Entertainment. PAR is a non-profit animal rescue group and its goal is to place the dogs and cats into exceptional homes!

There were several auction items featured at the event and it raises money for a great cause. FYN Spoke to Allen Wigington, Interim Executive Director of Pickens Animal Rescue and the amount of proceeds from the Fur Ball were in excess of $5,000.00.
