Mr. John McNeal, age 78 of Jasper, passed away at his residence on Friday January 9, 2015.He is survived by his son; Sean McNeal of Woodstock, daughters; Cynthia Thurman of Winder, Stephanie Highsmith of Jasper, Janet Goade of Jasper, Lora Valdez of Auburn, brother; William McNeal of Auburn, Alabama, 11 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Sunday January 11th from 12 noon until 8pm and again on Monday from 8am until prior to the funeral hour. Funeral services are scheduled for 1pm on Monday January 12th at Jasper United Methodist Church with Rev. Chip Wilson officiating. The interment will follow in the Jasper City Cemetery.

The family will accept flowers or donations may be made to Jasper United Methodist Church or CARES.
