Mrs. Carol Sue Massey, age 65, of Jasper, Georgia died Wednesday, October 26, 2011, at her residence, following a period of declining health.

Born June 10, 1946 in Gilmer County, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late L.B. Chester and Susie Arrendale Chester. Mrs. Massey had worked as the manager of Shoney’s Restaurant and was a member of the Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church in Dawson County.

Survivors include, HUSBAND, Kenny Massey, of Jasper, Ga.; DAUGHTER & SON-IN-LAW, Donna and Dennis Noland, of Talking Rock, Ga.; SON & DAUGHTER-IN-LAW, Chris and Andrea Enyart Massey, of Acworth, Ga.; HER MOTHER, Susie Chester, of Jasper, Ga.; GRANDDAUGHTER, Jordan Noland, of Talking Rock, Ga.; SISTERS & BROTHER-IN-LAW, Belinda and Steve Lowe, of Jasper, Ga.; Renea Chester, of Cumming, Ga.; SISTER-IN-LAW, Mary Chester, of Dawsonville, Ga.; Several Nieces, Nephews and other relatives also survive.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Saturday, October 29, 2011, at the Roper Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. Moss Fountain and Rev. Ricky Garrett will officiate, with the interment to follow in Sunrise Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home after 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, all day on Friday and until the funeral hour on Saturday.
