The Rebels and Dragons tipped off at 4:15 on Thursday evening.
(Article by Zack Godfrey)Pickens seemed a little sluggish throughout this game and it really showed when they shot the ball. After only scoring five points in the second quarter, courtesy of foul shots by Jacob Brumby and Chris McClure, one would figure that they would come out with a little more intensity in the second half. Fannin just showed that they were too much to handle for this Pickens squad, taking the game 43-12.

In the 8th grade matchup, everything seemed to be firing on all cylinders for the Dragons. Dylan curry was seemingly unstoppable when he got the ball in his hands. If he was left wide open, he never missed a shot, amassing 23 points and two threes from behind the arc. Fannin tried to come back in the third and fourth quarters but along with Curry, Holden Roop and Luke Stephens scored almost at will. Roop finished the game with 9 points and Stephens had 8. The Dragons took this game 44-36.
