Mrs. Irene Hollifield, age 73 of Tate, passed away at her residence. Visitation was held Friday, Feburary 17th from 6 p.m. and continued until the funeral hour. Funeral Services were held Sunday, February 19 at 2 p.m. from the Chapel of Cagle Funeral Home. Interment followed in Crossroads Baptist Church Cemetery.

Survivors are sons & daughter-in-law: Chuck and Terrie Hollifield, Jasper and Douglas Hollifield, Jasper; daughter & son-in-law: Sandra and Sonny Underwood, Tate; sisters: Montine Ledbetter, Gainesville and Christine Bruce, Lumpkin County; several nieces and nephews.

The family will accept flowers or donations to help with funeral expenses.
