Mrs. Dorothy Murphy, age 60 of Jasper, passed away on Friday, June 29, 2012 at Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta. Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 30 from 4 to 9 p.m., Sunday from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Monday from 8 a.m. until the funeral hour.

Funeral Services are scheduled for Monday, July 2 at 2 p.m. at the Chapel of Cagle Funeral Home with Rev. Lee Weeks officiating. Interment will follow in Sunrise Memorial Gardens.

Survivors are husband, Ron Murphy, Jasper; mother-in-law, Helen Murphy, Nelson; sons and daughter-in-law; Mathew Roberts, McDonough and Clint and Jill Roberts, McDonough; daughter, Brandy Roberts, Covington, GA; brothers: David Weems, McDonough and Adam Weems, Arizona; sisters: Rebecca Weems, Covington, LA, Debbie Hamby, Kenner, LA, Kathy Searcy, Fayetteville, GA, and Beth Seale, Meriden, MS; two grandchildren: Alexa Roberts and Mathew Roberts; several nieces and nephews.
