Mrs. Edith Irene Brendel, 92, of Blairsville, GA formerly of Tate, GA passed away August 14, 2012 at her residence.

Survivors include her Son & Daughter-In-Law: David & Jan Brendel, McDonough, GA, Daughters & Sons-In-Law; Hilda & Perry Stancil, Blairsville, GA & Janie & Leon Watkins, Ellijay, GA 8 Grandchldren, 10 Great-Grandchildren and numerous Nieces & Nephews.

Visitation will be Thursday, August 16, 2012 from 4:00 Pm to 8:00 PM and Friday 8:00 AM until the funeral hour which will be 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Cagle Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
