Mr. Emory Stewart age 82 of the Hinton Community passed away Friday evening at the Piedmont Mountainside Hospital.
Mr. Stewart was a member and deacon at the County Line Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his Wife Betty Thomason Stewart, Brother, B T Stewart, Brothers-in-law, Glen Duncan and Fred Thomason.

He is survived by his Children, David & Pat Stewart, Canton, Debbie & Danny Chadwick, Hinton, Delores & Danny Cochran, Hinton, Brothers & Sisters-in-law, Rembert & Jeri Stewart, Hinton, Jimmy & Karen Stewart, Hinton, Judy Stewart, Hinton, Shelby Duncan, Hinton, and Barbara Thomason, Hinton. Grandchildren, David Todd Stewart & Ashley Proctor, Hinton, Deidra Chadwick, Cumming, Danielle Cochran Phelps and her husband Zach Phelps, Great Grandchild, Gia Stewart, Hinton, and Step-Great Grandchild Careron Shutts.

Funeral Service will be 4 PM Sunday September 2, 2012 at the County Line Baptist Church with Rev. Jess Posey and Rev. Jerry Banks officiating. The interment will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will be receiving friends at Roper Funeral Home from 6-10 PM Saturday and all day Sunday until the funeral hour.

In lieu of flowers the family request memorial contributions to Pickens Animal Rescue P. O. Box 45 Jasper, Ga. 30143.
