Anthony Allen Chastain, age 27 of Ranger, Georgia died Tuesday, September 3, 2013 following an accidental drowning. Born August 31, 1986 in Pickens County, Anthony had worked as a machine operator for Pine Hall Brick Company.

Survivors include, HIS DAUGHTER, Madisyn Chastain of Jasper, Ga.; MOTHER, Sandra Bennefield of Talking Rock, Ga.; FATHER & STEP-MOTHER, Larry and Mary Chastain of Jasper, Ga.; BROTHERS, Michael Joe Chastain of Jasper, Ga.; Ethan Bennefield of Florence, Ala.; and Noah Chastain of Jasper, Ga.; GRANDPARENTS, Kathleen and William Pendley of Jasper, Ga.; Burt Merrell of Jasper, Ga.; Terry Joe Chastain of Jasper, Ga.; and Beatrice Chastain of Jasper, Ga.; Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and other relatives also survive.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 3:00 p.m., Saturday, September 7, 2013 at the Roper Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. Ben Mock will officiate with the interment to follow in Lake Forest Memorial Park Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral Home, 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Friday and 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour on Saturday.
